Thailand Set to Shine This Winter With New Routes From Europe
Thailand’s Air Access Expands for 2025/26
Thailand will welcome more European travelers this winter thanks to five new routes and increased flight frequencies on eleven others. Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Phuket are the main hubs benefiting from this growing wave of international connectivity.
Norse Air Atlantic Leads the Charge
Norse Air Atlantic is scaling back on some U.S. routes but rapidly expanding its presence in Thailand. The carrier will launch four new winter routes between Europe and Thailand, beginning in late October.
- London Gatwick–Bangkok: four times weekly from October 26
- Manchester–Bangkok: once weekly from November 26
- Oslo–Phuket: once weekly from December 8
- Stockholm–Phuket: once weekly from December 4
Norse will also increase frequencies from Oslo and Stockholm to Bangkok starting in early December.
Air France Brings Paris to Phuket
Starting November 27, Air France will fly three times weekly from Paris CDG to Phuket.
This marks a key expansion for the French carrier and boosts European access to Thailand’s iconic island.
Six More Carriers Increase Thailand Frequencies
Several other European airlines will raise frequencies to Bangkok and Phuket for winter 2025/26:
- Aircalin: from 2 to 3 weekly Paris–Bangkok flights from November 17

Thai Airways and Turkish Airlines Strengthen Ties
Thai Airways and Turkish Airlines will jointly increase capacity between Istanbul and Bangkok to 42 weekly flights. Turkish Airlines will also begin flying from Istanbul to Phnom Penh via Bangkok three times weekly from December 10.
This new route makes Cambodia the seventh Southeast Asian country served by Turkish Airlines.
These additions give European travelers more options, convenience, and flexibility when flying to Thailand. Whether you’re chasing city energy or beach tranquillity, Thailand is now more accessible than ever before. Think Beyond Thailand, and use Bangkok or Phuket as a springboard to explore Southeast Asia.
