Southwest Airlines Partners with Condor to Expand U.S. – Europe Connectivity in 2026
Southwest and Condor Launch Interline Agreement
German carrier Condor has partnered with Southwest Airlines to offer passengers seamless travel between the U.S. and Europe. The new interline agreement allows travellers to book connecting Southwest – Condor flights on a single ticket.
Flights under the agreement will operate through six U.S. gateways: Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle. Service begins January 19, 2026, and enables smooth transatlantic journeys with a single boarding pass.
Expanded Access to European Destinations
Condor connects from Frankfurt to nearly 70 global destinations, including Paris, Rome, and Prague. Southwest passengers can also reach Barcelona, Budapest, and Venice during the summer of 2026.
The partnership adds Condor as Southwest’s fifth international airline partner, alongside Icelandair, China Airlines, EVA Air, and Philippine Airlines. This collaboration strengthens Southwest’s international network, giving U.S. travellers more convenient transatlantic options than ever before.
How the Partnership Benefits Travellers
Passengers now enjoy through-checked luggage and a single itinerary for domestic and transatlantic flights. Condor tickets to the U.S. can be combined with Southwest domestic flights for one convenient booking.
Southwest’s COO Andrew Watterson highlighted the partnership’s ability to link dozens of U.S. airports with Condor destinations. The interline agreement lays the groundwork for potential future collaborations, including codeshares and expanded schedule coordination.
Travellers can book Southwest-Condor flights starting January 2026 for seamless U.S. – Europe travel. The partnership applies only to flights covered under the new interline agreement. Passengers can expect simplified travel, single boarding passes, and streamlined baggage handling across carriers.
