Major Investment in Passenger Comfort
Singapore Airlines is investing S$45 million to transform its SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges in Changi Airport’s Terminal 2. The upgrades aim to significantly enhance comfort, design, and dining — with completion targeted for mid-2027.
Renovations will started on 15 April 2025 and progress in carefully planned phases. This phased approach helps minimise disruption for travelers during the transformation.
All three lounges will expand by at least 30%, with total capacity increasing by 50%. Expect upgraded facilities, modern layouts, and an elevated food and beverage experience.
First Class SilverKris Lounge: Elegant and Expansive
The new First Class lounge will feature high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows for a bright, open feel. Live cooking stations will serve Singaporean, Asian, and Western dishes alongside an expanded buffet. A renovated premium bar will offer barista-made coffee by day and cocktails by night.
Business Class Lounge: Comfort Meets Convenience
The Business Class SilverKris Lounge will grow by 30% to accommodate more travelers. Guests can unwind in a quiet rest zone or work in productivity pods and lounge-style seating. A full-service bar and diverse buffet options will elevate the dining experience.
KrisFlyer Gold Lounge: Doubling in Capacity
The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will double in size, with expanded seating and enhanced facilities. New additions include shower suites and in-lounge restrooms for greater pre-flight comfort.
A Statement of Excellence
“This significant investment underscores Singapore Airlines’ unwavering commitment to elevating the end-to-end travel experience,” said Yeoh Phee Teik, SVP Customer Experience.
The design is inspired by the success of the award-winning Terminal 3 lounges.
