Singapore Airlines restarts Brussels flights after 20 years

Singapore Airlines has marked its return to Brussels after a gap of more than 20 years.

The first flight was welcomed with a water salute.

The return of Brussels flights takes the number of European gateways in SIA’s network to 13.

The launch event at Brussels Airport was attended by Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and the Singapore Ambassador to Benelux.

“Brussels gives our customers from Europe an additional point to connect to Singapore, as well as the wider Asia-Pacific region,” said Dai Hao Yu, Singapore Airlines Acting Senior Vice President Marketing Planning.

Singapore Airlines will operate four weekly Brussels flights to Singapore.

The flights are operated on long-haul Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with 253 seats in three cabin classes, including 42 seats in Business Class.
