Singapore Airlines Boosts Connectivity with Increased Flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is set to increase its weekly services between Singapore and Johannesburg, enhancing connectivity and offering greater travel flexibility for passengers. Starting April 2, 2025, the airline will operate 10 weekly flights, up from the current daily service. From June 16, 2025, this will increase further to 12 weekly flights, including additional services on Mondays and Saturdays.

All flights will be operated using the modern Airbus A350-900, ensuring a comfortable and efficient travel experience.

Flight Schedule: April 2 – June 15, 2025

  • Singapore to Johannesburg: Departs 13:55, arrives 18:25 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays).
  • Johannesburg to Singapore: Departs 19:50, arrives 12:15+1 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays).

From June 16, the two additional flights will operate on the same schedule, expanding weekly operations to 12 flights.

Cape Town Connections Remain Strong

Singapore Airlines will continue its daily Cape Town service via Johannesburg, maintaining its commitment to South African travelers. This robust schedule will run from April 2 to October 24, 2025, providing consistent connectivity between Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Singapore.

The increased frequency underscores Singapore Airlines’ commitment to strengthening ties with South Africa and meeting growing demand. Whether for business or leisure, these additional flights offer more options and flexibility for travelers.
