SAS Expands Codeshare with Air France-KLM

New Destinations in Brazil and South Africa

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is expanding its codeshare agreement with Air France-KLM, offering more travel options across Europe, South America, and Africa. For the first time, SAS travelers can now access Fortaleza and Salvador de Bahia in Brazil, as well as Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa. This marks a major step in SAS’ commitment to strengthening Scandinavian connectivity.

Seamless Connections Through Air France and KLM Networks

Through Air France and KLM’s extensive route networks, SAS customers can easily book flights to these new destinations. The expanded codeshare also adds more routes across Europe and beyond. This agreement builds on SAS’s existing partnership with Air France-KLM, which already includes routes within Europe and flights to and from Tokyo.

“Our partnership with Air France-KLM continues to unlock new opportunities for our travelers,” says Paul Verhagen, Chief Commercial Officer at SAS. “We are thrilled to offer our customers a trip to Fortaleza and Salvador de Bahia for the first time ever. This is just the beginning — our list of codeshare destinations will continue to grow, enhancing connectivity and convenience for both SAS’ and our partners’ customers.”

Expanded Global Connectivity

With this expansion, SAS now provides greater connectivity between Scandinavia and key global destinations. Travelers can enjoy increased access to Asia, including Osaka and Bangkok, as well as new South American and African destinations such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Fortaleza, Salvador de Bahia, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.
