Qatar Airways Resumes Flights to Malta from July 2025

 

Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of flights to Malta, with four weekly services starting July 2, 2025. This move expands the airline’s European network to nearly 50 destinations, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing global connectivity.

Travelers from Malta will gain access to Qatar Airways’ extensive network of over 170 destinations via Doha, including 42 weekly flights to Australia. The airline’s proposed partnership with Virgin Australia, pending regulatory approval, is expected to further boost connectivity.

Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, remarked:
“Qatar Airways is delighted to announce the resumption of our flights to Malta, a vibrant addition to our robust European network. Malta offers travelers a rich blend of history, culture, and Mediterranean charm.”

Malta’s highlights include Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 450 years of history, and Mdina, the ancient capital boasting a 4,000-year-old legacy. Known for its scenic beauty, historical sites, and as a filming location for Hollywood productions, Malta promises an unforgettable experience for global travelers.
