Qatar Airways Expands Across the Americas: More Flights to Toronto and São Paulo
New routes and increased frequencies strengthen the airline’s global network and commitment to seamless travel.
North America Boost: Toronto Gets More Flights
Qatar Airways is expanding its footprint in North America with five weekly flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), starting 19 June 2025. The airline has also confirmed plans to launch daily flights this coming winter, responding to growing demand from Canadian travellers.
The route, which was inaugurated in December 2024, connects passengers in Canada to Doha and over 170 global destinations via the award-winning Hamad International Airport.
Summer Schedule (until October 2025):
- Doha to Toronto (QR767): Departs 8:10 AM, arrives 3:00 PM
- Toronto to Doha (QR768): Departs 9:00 PM, arrives 4:40 PM
Operates Wednesday through Sunday
Winter Schedule (from October 2025):
- Doha to Toronto (QR767): Departs 8:25 AM, arrives 2:40 PM
- Toronto to Doha (QR768): Departs 8:10 PM, arrives 4:55 PM
Operates daily
“We launched our services to Toronto less than six months ago and have seen strong response in the market,” said Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways. “We are proud to announce the increase in flights to meet the growing demand.”
South America Expansion: São Paulo Sees 17 Weekly Flights
Qatar Airways is also reinforcing its South American presence with 17 weekly flights to São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) from 25 June 2025, up from the current 14.
São Paulo remains a key strategic gateway for both business and leisure travel. With the new flight additions, passengers will have more flexibility and convenience when visiting Brazil or transiting through Doha.
Flight Schedule:
- Doha to São Paulo (QR785): Departs 12:10 AM, arrives 9:00 AM
- São Paulo to Doha (QR786): Departs 10:30 AM, arrives 6:45 AM
Extra flights operate every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
Qatar Airways also offers seamless connections to 55 destinations across Latin America in partnership with LATAM Airlines, including cities like Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Lima, and Santiago.
