Norse Atlantic Airways will launch a direct route between London Gatwick and Bangkok on October 26, 2025. The airline will operate up to four flights weekly.
London Gatwick serves as Norse Atlantic’s UK base and a key strategic hub. The airline currently flies to major destinations across the Atlantic and South Africa. The Bangkok route marks its first expansion into Asia.
Norse Atlantic has offered flights to Bangkok from Oslo since 2023. The new route from London signals a major growth step in its UK operations.
CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen expressed excitement about the expansion. “We’re thrilled to offer direct flights between London Gatwick and Bangkok, a top choice among our travelers. Our goal is to provide more travel options at competitive prices.”
Increased Flight Frequencies to Bangkok
In addition to the new London-Bangkok route, Norse Atlantic is increasing its flight frequencies:
- Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) to Bangkok (BKK): Flights will increase from two to four weekly starting December 5, 2025.
- Oslo (OSL) to Bangkok (BKK): Flights will increase from three to four weekly beginning December 3, 2025.
Strengthening Connectivity in Asia and Beyond
Bangkok remains a popular destination among Norse Atlantic passengers. The airline’s expanded winter schedule will enhance connectivity between Asia and Europe.
“This addition strengthens our network in Asia and builds on our London Gatwick routes to the Atlantic and South Africa,” said Larsen. “We aim to offer affordable travel without compromising comfort and service for those seeking a warm winter escape.”
With this expansion, Norse Atlantic Airways continues to grow its international footprint. Travelers can look forward to more convenient and cost-effective options for visiting Bangkok in winter 2025.
