Lufthansa has introduced its premium Allegris product on the non-stop Munich-Cape Town route, marking a new era in South Africa’s luxury air travel offerings. Designed with the modern traveler in mind, the Allegris cabins offer a range of comfort-focused features across Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class on Lufthansa’s A350-900, with daily departures from Cape Town at 09:30, landing in Munich by 19:45.

Allegris cabins deliver elevated travel experiences, including spacious, adjustable seating, state-of-the-art entertainment options, and private suites in Business Class. The rollout underscores Lufthansa’s commitment to improving travel for South Africans, according to Rene Koinzack, Lufthansa’s Senior Director of Sales for Southern & East Africa. Koinzack anticipates that Allegris will attract more South African travelers to the Lufthansa brand, reshaping international travel preferences with its heightened level of comfort.

Cape Town’s non-stop link to Munich connects travelers with Bavaria’s capital, a cultural hub featuring architectural marvels like the historic Marienplatz and Neuschwanstein Castle. Visitors can immerse themselves in Munich’s vibrant arts scene or relax in the renowned Englischer Garten, making it a favorite European destination year-round.

With the Allegris launch, Lufthansa further solidifies Cape Town as an essential gateway to Africa, exploring future expansions to enhance connectivity and experiences for travelers.
