London Stansted Airport is set to enhance its European network with a host of new routes launching in 2025. A Diverse Range of New Destinations
Bergerac, France
British Airways continues to grow its presence at Stansted with a new service to Bergerac starting in June. This picturesque destination in southwest France is renowned for its sprawling vineyards, stunning countryside, and charming heritage, making it perfect for wine enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
Rotterdam, Netherlands
Transavia, a new airline for Stansted, will debut its route to Rotterdam in April. This dynamic Dutch city is celebrated for its innovative architecture, thriving cultural scene, and vibrant nightlife, offering a fresh perspective on the Netherlands beyond Amsterdam.
Kayseri (Cappadocia), Turkey
Building on its success with summer routes, Turkish carrier SunExpress will launch a new service to Kayseri in July. As the gateway to Cappadocia, Kayseri offers travelers access to the region’s famous fairy-tale landscapes, ancient rock-cut churches, and hot-air balloon adventures.
Aegina and Greek Islands
Jet2, Stansted’s second-largest carrier, will introduce holiday packages to Aegina, Poros, and Leros, accessible via Athens. These islands offer idyllic beaches, rich history, and authentic Mediterranean charm, perfect for a serene getaway.
Lübeck, Germany
Ryanair is resuming flights to Lübeck, Germany, in summer 2025. Known for its medieval architecture and famed marzipan, Lübeck is a treasure trove for history buffs and food lovers. Additionally, Ryanair will launch new routes to Münster, Germany, in April, and Clermont-Ferrand, France, in March. Clermont-Ferrand marks a nostalgic return for the airport, having been last served in 2019.
