Jetstar Launches New Flights to the Philippines

Jetstar Launches New Flights to the Philippines from Perth and Brisbane

Jetstar is expanding its international network with two new routes connecting Australia to the Philippines later this year. From 27 November 2025, travellers can fly direct from Perth to Manila three times a week on Airbus A321LR aircraft.

On 3 December 2025, seasonal services between Brisbane and Cebu will begin, also operating three times per week. Together, the new routes add over 108,000 low-fare seats annually, offering more affordable travel options to Southeast Asia.

Jetstar continues to grow its Asia-Pacific footprint, announcing or launching 20 routes since June 2024 to meet rising travel demand. Jetstar’s next-generation A321LR and A320neo aircraft support this expansion, delivering better fuel efficiency and quieter onboard experiences.

The airline has also reallocated its wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliners to longer-haul international services to boost network flexibility.

Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully said “These flights unlock two exciting destinations for Aussie holidaymakers and the Filipino community.” “As low-cost travel demand grows, our modern fleet lets customers take off more often, for less,” she said.

Brisbane Airport CEO Gert-Jan de Graaff called Cebu a “tropical getaway waiting to be discovered” with rich culture and cuisine. He added the new flights also strengthen ties with Queensland’s Filipino community and boost business and tourism links.

This route marks Brisbane Airport’s 34th direct international service, the most in its history and reflects strong global growth plans.
