GCA’s transformation is expected to double its economic contribution to $990 million annually by the year 2044. In addition, the airport will support over 6,000 jobs across construction, hospitality, transport, and education sectors during the next 20 years.
Evans said “The project affirms the airport’s role as a key economic driver and community contributor in the region.”
The Federal Government approved the Master Plan shortly after QAL sold its majority stake to KKR and Skip Capital. This sale unlocks exciting opportunities for investment, innovation, and growth in aviation infrastructure and services.
A Vision Beyond Aviation
