The Wimpole Half Marathon- 7th October 2018
Gaynor Gordon and Lori Rosenthal both work in the Accounts department here at Blue Marine Travel. On 7th October this year they will be running The Wimpole Half Marathon.
They have a target to complete the 13 miles in a time of 3 hours. With the UK having a surprisingly hot and long Summer this year, training has seemed to be harder than usual, this however hasn’t stopped the girls from giving it their all. We are positive that they are going to finish the run in no time.
Gaynor and Lori have chosen to support The Marine Conservation Society charity with this run so all donations received will be donated to this charity. The Marine Conservation Society has been the UK’s leading marine charity for over 30 years. They work to protect the sea and to keep it healthy and pollution free. So that the wildlife in our seas can be restored and bathing water can become cleaner.
The girls will have The Marine Conservation Society logo on their running clothing and hopefully this will catch the attention of the supporting crowd.
