How Do I Apply?
Eligible participants can submit their application via the Etihad Status Match portal. To qualify, you must:
- Provide proof of elite frequent flyer status with one of the eligible airlines.
- Reside in Australia or India and verify your residence with a government-issued ID.
- Be a member of the Etihad Guest program (enroll for free if you’re not already a member).
How Long Will My Status Last?
- Australia: Matched status is valid for 6 months. You can extend it for an additional 12 months by completing one return flight with Etihad during this period. The flight must be both marketed and operated by Etihad and earn at least one Etihad Guest Mile.
- India: Matched status is valid for 4 months, with similar extension requirements as Australia.
