Etihad Airways Expands Pakistan Network

Etihad Airways Launches New Route to Peshawar, Expands Pakistan Network

Etihad Airways will launch nonstop flights to Peshawar, Pakistan, starting 29 September 2025. The new service connects Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport with Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport. Passengers will enjoy smooth onward connections across Etihad’s growing global network.

Peshawar becomes Etihad’s fourth nonstop destination in Pakistan, alongside Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. Etihad will fly the route with Airbus A320 family aircraft. Each aircraft offers eight Business Class and 150 Economy seats for passenger comfort.

The airline will initially operate the route five times per week. From 22 November 2025, Etihad will increase the service to daily flights.

Etihad Strengthens Presence in Pakistan and Beyond

Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad Airways CEO, said: “We are thrilled to expand our network in Pakistan with Peshawar. This new route strengthens connections between Pakistan, the Gulf, Africa, Europe, and North America”.

Etihad will also boost its Karachi service to 17 weekly flights starting 1 October. This expansion follows Etihad’s recent launch of flights to Addis Ababa. Peshawar marks the sixteenth new destination added by Etihad in 2025.

Other new routes include Prague, Warsaw, Algiers, Tunis, and Atlanta. Etihad is also increasing frequencies to key European cities like Paris, Milan, and Frankfurt. Passengers can enjoy Etihad’s Abu Dhabi Stopover programme with up to two complimentary hotel nights.
