Emirates First guests can now check-in from their homes

Emirates first class guests beginning their journey in Dubai or Sharjah can enjoy an even more relaxed start to the experience, as the Gulf carrier rolls out a new premium check-in service that comes direct to your home.

Long before closing the privacy doors on their onboard first class suite, check-in formalities can now be completed in advance at the traveller’s home, office or hotel room at a pre-booked time, between six and 24 hours ahead of the flight’s scheduled departure time.

An Emirates ‘Check-In Agent’ will visit high-flying guests to verify travel documents, tag and check-in baggage and issue boarding passes. Agents will then whisk luggage to the airport, with guests free to relax and await their pre-booked chauffeur transfer later in the day.

A dedicated counter at the airport will also be available for any extra baggage to be checked at least 90 minutes prior to departure, with guests then able to proceed directly through security, immigration and onward to the Emirates First lounge.

On certain routes, First travellers can even then board their flight directly from the lounge through a private air bridge.

The service is provided by ‘DUBZ’ a subsidiary of Emirates-owned ground handling brand dnata and itself part of state-owned The Emirates Group.
