On January 26, 2025, Emirates introduced its Airbus A350 aircraft to India, launching daily services to Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The debut marked a significant milestone in Emirates’ operations, showcasing the airline’s latest interiors, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative features designed to enhance passenger comfort.
The new A350 services reinforced Emirates’ commitment to Indian customers and travelers beyond, while adding to the airline’s growing network of A350 destinations, which now includes five global points.
Flight Schedule
The daily A350 services to Mumbai and Ahmedabad operated as follows:
- Mumbai: Emirates flight EK502 departed Dubai at 13:15, arriving in Mumbai at 17:50. The return flight, EK503, departed Mumbai at 19:20 and landed in Dubai at 21:05.
- Ahmedabad: Emirates flight EK538 left Dubai at 22:50, reaching Ahmedabad at 02:55 the following day. The return flight, EK539, departed Ahmedabad at 04:25 and arrived in Dubai at 06:15.
Expanding the A350 Network
The introduction of the A350 to India followed Emirates’ earlier rollouts of the aircraft to destinations such as Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Bahrain. With this expansion, Emirates continued to deliver exceptional travel experiences, elevating the standard of comfort and luxury for its passengers.
A Growing Presence in India
Emirates’ A350 launch in India complemented the airline’s existing operations, which include daily A380 services to Mumbai and Bangalore. These flights feature four cabin classes, including the popular Premium Economy. Emirates currently serves nine destinations in India with an impressive 167 flights per week, reflecting its commitment to the Indian market and its role as a key travel hub for passengers worldwide.
