Denmark’s Copenhagen Airport (CPH Airport) has become one of the most digitised airports in the world with the successful launch of AIRHART.
AIRHART, developed by Smarter Airports, is a unique solution and platform that links as well as combines more than 100 systems using a unified, up-to-the-date platform.
This innovative technology replaces the old Airport Operation Data Base (AODB) at airports and introduces a comprehensive airport management ecosystem (AOP) for the entire landscape of stakeholders, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.
As CPH Airport explains, the platform creates a foundation for future breakthroughs in AI. The same stresses that the platform will significantly improve operations across the border and will enable the airport to increase capacity from 30 to 40 million passengers per year.
Moreover, AIRHART will also enhance the travel experience of passengers, make airport operations more sustainable, and reduce emissions.
In addition to the above-mentioned, the airport notes that the system will be utilised by more than 4,000 employees, eradicating inefficiencies without any disruptions.
The same points out that AIRHART’s first version is focused on baggage and passenger handling, airside operations, crowd control, certain elements of security, and information systems.
AIRHART will eventually cover all operations at CPH Airport, and its next versions will predict as well as recommend actions to improve efficiency and minimise disruptions.
