Crew Travel Updates for November 23, 2020 with Lee Harris of Blue Marine Travel

Your weekly crew travel update with Lee Harris from Blue Marine Travel and Rhea Rouw from Yachting International Radio for the week of the 23rd November 2020

This week, planned strikes at Heathrow airport JUST in time for Christmas. British Airways and American Airlines are providing voluntary testing. Some flights will continue to block middle seats, including Delta Airline until March 2021.

EVA Air, Taiwan’s second-largest airline, has partnered with local dating company Mobius to offer “Love is in the Air” flights. Taiwanese college-educated singles can (hopefully) meet their match on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, all the while sampling gourmet Michelin-starred cuisine and taking in stunning views to match.

Dates for Heathrow Strikes: 24 hour periods

  • 1 & 14 December
  • 17 & 18 December

Trial Flights for testing Starting 25th November

  • AA50 from Dallas (DFW) to London (LHR)
