Blue Marine Travel is proud to support the Marist Brothers High School Under-15 Boys Rugby Team from Suva, Fiji, as they embark on an inspiring tour to Sydney, Australia. This marks a life-changing opportunity for many of these young athletes, with some traveling overseas for the first time and even becoming the first in their families to experience international travel.
The team, crowned Fiji’s national champions in their grade for 2023, has worked diligently alongside their families to bring this dream to life through months of fundraising. The tour includes matches against prestigious teams like St. Gregory’s College, Dural Rugby U15, and the Sydney Barbarians U15, providing the boys with a platform to showcase their talent and gain invaluable exposure.
Beyond the field, the two-week tour, beginning December 1, includes visits to TAFE NSW, the University of New South Wales, Raging Waters Sydney, and Taronga Zoo. These experiences aim to broaden the boys’ horizons, exposing them to new career possibilities and cultural experiences.
The sponsorship was officially handed over by Blue Marine Travel’s Fiji Country Manager, Seorn Thomas, further emphasising the company’s commitment to nurturing young talent and supporting local communities.
