Seamless Travel Across Domestic and International Routes
Air France-KLM has signed and implemented an interline agreement with South African airline CemAir. This partnership enhances connectivity by linking Air France-KLM’s global network with CemAir’s domestic routes. Passengers can now book combined itineraries on a single ticket, simplifying travel between long-haul international flights and regional destinations.
Enhanced Passenger Convenience and Flexibility
The agreement allows travellers to enjoy smooth connections via Air France-KLM’s key hubs in Johannesburg and Cape Town. It reduces connection times and ensures a seamless experience across both airlines. This collaboration provides more options for business and leisure travellers exploring South Africa.
Strengthening Regional and Global Networks
Air France-KLM’s Southern Africa Country Manager, Wilson Tauro, emphasised the significance of the partnership. “This agreement expands our network and ensures a more efficient journey for our customers,” he said. CemAir CEO Miles van der Molen highlighted the benefits of working with a global airline. “This partnership enhances convenience and savings for our customers,” he stated.
This agreement aligns with Air France-KLM’s strategy to strengthen regional connectivity. The airline group continues to expand its footprint in Southern Africa, following a recent codeshare agreement with Airlink.
