Air Canada is gearing up for a major network expansion in summer 2025, tapping into the rising demand for leisure travel across North America and Europe. Starting May 1, the airline will introduce several new nonstop routes, including a Toronto-Port of Spain service, enhancing its connectivity to popular destinations and catering to the surge in vacation travelers.
The Toronto (YYZ) to Port of Spain (POS) route—returning after a hiatus since 2022—will now operate four times weekly. The service will use Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, featuring 16 first-class and 153 economy seats. With late-night departures from Toronto and early-morning returns, the schedule seems designed for younger travelers seeking quick weekend escapes.
In addition to Port of Spain, Air Canada’s summer schedule will see new flights from Toronto to Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Vancouver, and international connections to Prague. From Montreal, new routes to Naples and Porto will also debut, offering travelers more European options.
This summer expansion reaffirms Air Canada’s focus on capturing leisure travelers with flexible schedules, extensive destinations, and convenient nonstop flights, ensuring they remain a leading option in North America’s competitive air travel market.
