Aer Lingus has introduced enhanced travel benefits for AerClub members flying with its partners, American Airlines (AA) and British Airways (BA).
The new perks are already available for flights with AA, while BA flights will follow starting December 2. Benefits for AerClub Silver, Platinum, and Concierge members include priority check-in and boarding, with these privileges extending to others on the same booking.
Platinum and Concierge members enjoy additional perks like fast-track security and lounge access for themselves and a guest on transatlantic itineraries (excluding the Caribbean). They also receive an extra checked bag allowance in economy (excluding hand baggage-only fares), with Concierge members gaining an additional checked bag in business class.
American Airlines offers similar benefits, excluding the extra baggage allowance. AerClub members continue to earn tier credits and Avios on flights operated by AA and BA.
Aer Lingus joined the Atlantic Joint Business partnership in 2021, collaborating with BA, AA, Iberia, Finnair, and Level to enhance transatlantic connectivity.
Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer Susanne Carberry remarked:
“Our partnership with American Airlines and British Airways brings significant added value to the AerClub loyalty programme, allowing members to consistently enjoy an elevated experience on their global travels.”
Earlier this year, Aer Lingus also joined the TSA PreCheck programme, providing expedited security screening at major US airports.
