A Heartfelt Thanks to Superyacht New Zealand and NZ Marine

Blue Marine Travel would like to extend our sincere thanks to Superyacht New Zealand and NZ Marine for their warm welcome at last week’s Superyacht Welcome Function. It was an honor for Key Account Manager Natasha Nel and Operations Manager Petra Grijpstra to attend this fantastic event, marking the start of the 2025 superyacht summer cruising season in New Zealand.

As part of the local marine community since opening our doors in New Zealand in 2019, we have consistently been amazed by the hospitality and collaboration shown by yachties and locals alike. The event provided a fantastic opportunity to network, share insights on cruising, and reconnect with long-time clients and potential new partners. It is always a pleasure to connect with clients and inform them of the specialised airfares they are entitled to, ensuring their travel to and from the vessels is as smooth and efficient as possible.

With over 250 industry professionals in attendance, including yacht owners, captains, and crew from nearly 40 of the 50 superyachts currently visiting New Zealand, the evening highlighted the thriving superyacht scene in the region. Peter Busfield, Executive Director of NZ Marine, spoke about the increasing popularity of New Zealand as a refit and cruising destination. This is a testament to the nation’s world-class facilities and commitment to delivering outstanding services to the global superyacht industry. The event’s impressive turnout, with record numbers of attendees, truly showcases the strength and appeal of New Zealand’s maritime sector.

Blue Marine Travel is excited to be part of this dynamic and growing industry. We are looking forward to the year ahead, with many more opportunities to work alongside our friends and partners in New Zealand, as well as globally. Here’s to a successful 2025 season on the water!

Once again, thank you to Superyacht New Zealand and NZ Marine for always including us in such important events and for making us feel at home. We look forward to what the future holds in New Zealand’s waters and beyond.
