Singapore Airlines Brings Premium Economy Back to Brisbane from November 2026
Travellers between Brisbane and Singapore can look forward to more comfort next year. From 1 November 2026, Singapore Airlines will reintroduce Premium Economy on one of its four daily return services.
A New Level of Comfort on the Brisbane–Singapore Route. Flights SQ265/266 will be upgraded to the Airbus A350-900 Long Haul (A359LH), replacing the Airbus A350-900 Medium Haul (A359MH) on this rotation. The remaining three daily services will continue operating with the Medium Haul configuration.
The A350-900 Long Haul features 42 Business, 24 Premium Economy, and 187 Economy Class seats, offering passengers more choice and comfort on the eight-hour journey.
According to Singapore Airlines, departure and arrival times will remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition for regular travellers.
Responding to Strong Travel Demand
The upgrade follows Singapore Airlines’ June 2025 frequency boost, which added three extra flights each week. Brisbane now enjoys 28 weekly services between Queensland and Singapore, driven by strong international travel demand from South East Queensland.
This latest enhancement highlights the airline’s ongoing commitment to improving travel options for Australian passengers and strengthening connections to its global network.
