Turkish Airlines Unveils Largest Overseas Lounge at Narita International Airport

Turkish Airlines has officially opened its newest airport lounge at Narita International Airport in Tokyo, marking its largest international lounge outside of Türkiye. This new facility, located in Terminal 1 South Wing, Satellite 4, is designed to provide passengers with a premium pre-flight experience, blending Turkish hospitality with Japanese elegance.

A Spacious, Premium Experience

The lounge’s first phase spans 800 square meters, offering seating for up to 105 guests. Once the second phase is completed, the lounge will expand to 1,500 square meters, further enhancing its capacity and amenities.

Open daily from 07:30 to 21:45, the lounge is accessible to:

  • Miles&Smiles Elite Plus and Elite cardholders
  • Miles&Smiles Elite Corporate cardholders
  • Star Alliance Gold members
  • Business Class passengers flying with Star Alliance member airlines

Turkish Airlines’ Narita lounge offers a diverse range of amenities, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience for travelers:

  • Buffet-style dining featuring Turkish, Japanese, and Far Eastern cuisines
  • Relaxation areas and daybeds with apron views
  • VIP room for privacy
  • Shower facilities, accessible restrooms, and a baby care room
  • Dedicated workspace, Wi-Fi, and flight information screens

A standout feature of this lounge is the Turkish pide oven, making it the first Turkish Airlines lounge outside of Istanbul to offer freshly baked pide—a traditional Turkish flatbread.

Turkish Airlines has infused the lounge’s interior design with elements from both Turkish and Japanese cultures. The space features traditional Turkish marbling art, while Mount Fuji at the entrance serves as a tribute to Japan’s iconic landscape.

With the opening of the Narita lounge, Turkish Airlines now operates seven international airport lounges, including locations in:

  • Nairobi
  • Moscow
